Amanda has been a nurse for 14 years, including 7 years as the Clinical Lead RN on the Bridges Geropsychiatric Program at St. Mary’s Hospital. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner for over 4 years, this is Amanda’s third year working in the assisted living/memory care setting. With extensive experience working with the elderly in both inpatient and clinic mental health settings, Amanda has primarily focused on treating dementia-related illnesses and their associated behavioral symptoms. Outside of work, Amanda and her husband have three dogs and enjoy traveling and exploring the world. Originally from California, Amanda enjoys going to the movies, working on puzzles, and taking walks with the dogs.

Sharon joined the SWGeriatrics team in 2017. When she is not seeing patients, she works in the cardiology department at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center. She is also a lead faculty member at the University of Phoenix in the Nurse Practitioner program. In her free time, Sharon enjoys working out and spending time with her family. She has been married for over 25 years and has two handsome sons. She also has two pit bulls who feel they are lap dogs.

Kindra joined the SWGeriatrics team in 2018. She is originally from Texas but moved to Tucson when she was in high school. Kindra worked in the Emergency Department at St. Joseph’s hospital for eight years before becoming a Nurse Practioner. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family/friends and traveling.
Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Sarah is originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin, and loves that she can now skip the long Wisconsin winters and enjoy Arizona’s warmer weather. When she is not working, she loves to hike and do various activities to stay fit. She loves spending time with her two very spoiled fur babies, and when she can, she travels and explores new areas.

Milton is a native Philadelphian. He started his nursing career working at our nation’s first hospital, Pennsylvania Hospital. He then spent many years working in the Cardio-Thoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Milton has a passion for geriatric primary care, and he is well versed in the latest evidence-based practice guidelines and research-validated practice standards.

Sharan joined the SWGeriatrics team in November of 2018. She is a Wisconsin native, but considers Arizona home as she has lived in Arizona since 1999. She has a wide range of experience, including a Rural Health Clinic, Public Health nursing on two different reservations, managing the home care needs of Southern Arizona VA Vets, as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled care facility, and Geriatric Psych, as well as over ten year’s nursing home experience. Her background includes many different areas of nursing, provides a well-rounded and practical approach to patients living with diseases and disorders, and a particular appreciation for the Geriatric patient. Her patients appreciate her warmth and her cheerful smile. In her spare time, Sharan loves to spend time with her grandchildren, read, and crochet. She is also an active member of her local church and enjoys assisting with the food bank there.
Jennifer has been on the SWGeriatrics team since 2009. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and enjoys assisting patients and their families navigate the complexities of health insurance. When she is not working, you will find her exercising, cooking healthy food, and watching her kids play sports. She is also an enthusiastic football fan and enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys lose most Sundays.
Cristina joined the SWGeriatrics team in 2021 with a B.S. in University Studies. She has transitioned from being in the accounting world to helping those in need. In her free time, she loves to cook, bake, try out new restaurants, and travel with her husband and two children. The two most important foods to her are steak and chocolate.
April is a Texas native that has worked in billing and administration for over 25 years. She has been working with SWGeriatrics since 2017. When she is not working, she is either watching her youngest daughter play volleyball or she’s spending time with her wonderful husband, four daughters, one son, and a daughter and son-in-law. She also has a cherished dog named Fuzzy and two granddogs, Leia and Tofu.
