Who Are We?

We are a women-owned and operated medical practice in Tucson, Arizona established in 2009. Our Nurse Practitioners serve as Primary Care Providers (PCP’s), providing medical care to patients of all ages and specializing in Geriatrics. Our patients live at home or in Assisted Living Facilities.

With years of experience in the industry and a heart to help, our team understands the difficulties, challenges and frustrations that can arise from the growing needs of caring for ourselves and loved ones as the years progress.

Highly Skilled Professionals

Our team consists of highly trained individuals in the health care field. All Nurse Practitioners are Certified by the State of Arizona, educated to the Master’s and/or Doctoral level and approved by the DEA to write prescriptions, including narcotics.

Jennifer Barnard, MBA, CPC, CPPM
Practice Manager

Jennifer has been on the SWGeriatrics team since 2009. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and enjoys assisting patients, and their families navigate the complexities of health insurance. When she is not working, you will find her exercising, cooking healthy food, and watching her kids play sports. She is also an enthusiastic football fan and enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys lose most Sundays.

Admissions Coordinator

Cristina joined the SWGeriatrics team in 2021 with a B.S. in University Studies. She has transitioned from being in the accounting world to helping those in need. In her free time, she loves to cook, bake, try out new restaurants, and travel with her husband and two children. The two most important foods to her are steak and chocolate.

Billing Manager

April is a Texas native that has worked in billing and administration for over 25 years. She has been working with SWGeriatrics since 2017. When she is not working, she is either watching her youngest daughter play volleyball or she’s spending time with her wonderful husband, four daughters, one son, and a daughter and son-in-law. She also has a cherished dog named Fuzzy and two granddogs, Leia and Tofu.
